Claudia Cornelius

Services for Claudia Lee Cornelius, 86, of Whitney, will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, April 22, 2008 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Burial will be in the Greenacres Memorial Park.
Mrs. Cornelius passed away Sunday, April 20, 2008 in Whitney. She was born Nov. 7, 1921 in Pollok, Tex. to Claud N. and Lillie Williams Graham. She married Horace Ennis Cornelius on Nov. 8, 1968 in Texas City, he preceded her in death on July 29, 1997.
Mrs. Cornelius is survived by a daughter, Nan Blackman and husband Ray of Blum; sons, Benny Cornelius and wife Linda of Texas City and Eddie Cornelius and wife Roseann of Texas City; 10 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild; brother, Frank Graham and wife Genevive of Hawkins and a number of nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by two daughters, Sandra Pardue and Gail Murphy and a number of brothers and sisters.
