Claudie Teich

Services for Claudie Fae Teich, 96, of Cresson, will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 28, 2010 in the Cresson United Methodist Church, 114 S. Crook St., Cresson, Texas. Keith Richbourg, Alan Richbourg and Al Munger will officiate. Burial will be in Cresson Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ken Burger, Charles Hammond, Dicky Johnson, Jeff Keeney, Blake Pichon and Alan Richbourg. Honorary pallbearers will be H.L. Cain, Reggie Collins, Dillard Crook, Jimmy Crook, Hoot Gibson, Charles Reynolds and Bill Rowe. Visitation will be Friday from 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.

Claudie Fae Teich passed away Monday, August 23, 2010 in Cresson at home surrounded by loved ones. She was born July 29, 1914 in Cresson to B.F. and Lillian (Kinder) Bone. She married Ernest K. Teich on December 29, 1932 in Marietta, Oklahoma.

She was a homemaker and a loving caregiver. She was a member of the Cresson United Methodist Church, being the oldest member at the time of her death. Earlier she enjoyed bowling, baking and the Cresson Sewing Club. Family was always the main focus of her life, as her unselfish devotion was evident to all. She especially enjoyed the babies and young ones.

Claudie Fae Teich is survived by her son, Kenneth Teich and wife Mary; daughter, Carolyn Richbourg and husband, Horace all of Cresson; grandchildren, Debbie Teich of Ft. Stockton, Cathy Teich of Talkeetna, Alaska, Jacque Keeney and husband, Jeff of Cresson, Alan Richbourg and wife, Summer of Arlington, Keith Richbourg and wife, Sherri of Waco and Tracy Burger and husband, Ken of Austin; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Julia Johnson of Keller; two nieces; one nephew; several loving caregivers, especially Cheryl Garner and Dot Scarbrough and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest on September 14, 2002; parents; and one brother, 1st Lt. James K. Bone in WW II.
