Clifford (Cliff) Eugene Bowen, 71, of Cleburne, passed away in Fort Worth on Monday, August 10, 2009. He was born to the late, Earl Eugene and Rosie Ellen Davis Bowen on March 10, 1938 in Abilene, Texas. He re-married his first wife, Brenda Joyce Roberts Bowen on June 14, 1993 in Cleburne. Papa, as his grandchildren called him, was a family man with high morals and strong beliefs. He was a giver and a hard worker. He sub-contracted for many years as a cement finisher. He was preceded in death by his parents and second wife, Alicie Mae Bowen. Cliff's giving nature and love for animals of all kinds will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved him.



Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am, Thursday, August 13, 2009 at Rosehill Cemetery, Cleburne. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 6:00-8:00 pm, Wednesday, August 12, 2009. You may leave condolences and view obituary at www.cpcleburne.com .



Survivors include his wife, Brenda Bowen of Cleburne; children, Freda Baty Bowen, Regina Hinds, Ronnie Rurak, Corbett Rurak all of Cleburne, Billy Rurak, Dennis Rurak both of Whitney; sisters, Ruby Gann of Abilene, Judy Porter of Cleburne; brothers, Hershell, Leo, and Bill Bowen all of San Antonio, Freddy Bowen of Cleburne, and Jack Bowen of Abilene; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends
