Services for Cloteal "Cathy Flippin, 76, of Granbury, will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 27, 2007 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Reverend Joe Phillips will officiate. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery.

Cathy Flippin passed away Wednesday, October 24, 2007 in Fort Worth, TX. She was born July 10, 1931 in Blanco County, TX to Charlie and Susie Phelps Wells. She married John I. Flippin on December 16, 1949 in Cleburne, TX.

Mrs. Flippin was a mail clerk in the manufacturing industry and was of the Baptist faith.

Cathy Flippin is survived by husband, John Ira Flippin of Granbury; daughters, Deborah L. Beaird and husband Danny of Granbury and Jackie Blair and husband Bill of Arlington; son John Flippin and wife, Deborah of Joshua; grandchildren, Tracy Ashmore and husband Jim, Monica Elliott and husband Joey, John Bicknell, Randy Blair, Cindy Calahan and husband, James, Cheryl Ellis and husband Jeremy, Christy Cross and husband Sean, Amy Beaird, Kyle Beaird and wife, Debra; 12 great-grandchildren; sister, Mildred Beene and husband, Gerald; brother, Foster Wells and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carlie and Susie Wells; brother, Tommy Wells; sister, Charlene Wood and sisters-in-law, Nell Wells and Esther Wells.
