Services for Cloyd D. McLain, 68 of Covington will be conducted at 10:00 a.m., Monday, March 14, 2005 in the Cleburne Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Mike Mizell will officiate. Pallbearers will be Carl McLain, Gary McLain, Darrell McLain, Jarrell McLain, Dusty McLain and Rick Davis. Burial will be in the Rio Vista Cemetery.
Mr. McLain passed away Thursday, March 10, 2005 in Cleburne. He was born October 27, 1936 in Rice, TX. to Clarence Loyd and Sylvia Estell Miles McLain. He married JoAnn Huffman on January 22, 1955 in Ft. Worth. He was a retired dairy farmer.
Mr. McLain was survived by his wife of 50 years JoAnn McLain of Covington, son, Carl McLain of Rio Vista, daughter, Carla Davis of Itasca, son, Gary McLain of Covington, daughter, Sherry Zafar of Irving, son, Darrell McLain of Covington, son, Jarrell McLain of Glen Rose, sister, Geneva Wilson of Euless and brother, Phillip McLain of Ft. Worth; 15 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, Henry and John McLain and sister, Betty McLain.
