Clyde Hildebrand

Memorial service for Clyde Luther Hildebrand, 82, of Cleburne will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, August 12, 2023 at 1st Church of Nazarene, 1721 West Henderson, Cleburne.

Luther passed away August 4, 2023 in Cleburne. He was born December 20, 1940 in Vernon, Texas. He married Florence Louella Hall on December 1, 1973 in Abernathy, Texas. Luther was a real estate agent and loved crossword puzzles. Luther’s family was his greatest joy in life and he loved them dearly.

Luther is survived by his wife, Florence “Flo” Hildebrand; daughter, Robin Wilson and husband, Donald; son, Wayne Tannery and wife, Cathy; grandchildren, Logan Shane, Danaca Renee, Stephanie Kryn, Nickie Michelle, Brennen Dee; 14 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and host of other relatives and friends.

Luther is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Frederick Hildebrand and Floy Opal (Liles) Hildebrand; grandson, Randall Chase; brothers, G.H. Hildebrand and Theodore “Cotton” Hildebrand and sister, Betty Jane Hildebrand Awalt.
