Clyde "Ozzie" Black, Jr.

Service for Clyde “Ozzie” Black, Jr., 68, of Cleburne will be conducted at 2:30 P.M., Saturday, June 4, 2016 in the Kilgore-Green Funeral Home in Jasper, AL. Graveside service will follow at Boldo Cemetery in Jasper. Visitation will be from 12 Noon to 2:30 P.M., Saturday, prior to the service.

Clyde “Ozzie” Black, Jr. passed away Monday, May 30, 2016 in Ft. Worth. He was born June 10, 1947 in Jasper, AL to Clyde Osman, Sr. and Kathleen Borden Black. Ozzie married Paula Jean Etheridge on July 15, 2001 in Godley.

Mr. Black was a disabled veteran of the United States Army and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his wife, Paula Black; sons, Cory Black and Jeff Black; daughters, Velvet Smith and husband Jeff, Cheyenne Black, Pam McCord and Misty Whitfield; five grandchildren; sister, Carolyn Hopkins, Kim Hall, Helen Hambric, and Sandy Crenshaw; brothers, Randy Black and Chris Hall. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Forrest Black and Rusty Hall.
