Colleen Rorick

Services for Colleen D. (West) Rorick, 91, of Cleburne, will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, February 22, 2025, in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Burial will follow in Green Acres Memorial Park. Visitation will be Friday, February 21, 2025, from 6-8:00 P.M., at the funeral home. 

Colleen passed away on February 14, 2025. Born on December 25, 1933, in Cleburne, Colleen was a cherished member of her community. Colleen married Allen Stewart Rorick on April 12, 1952, in Cleburne. Together, they shared a life filled with love and commitment. As a dedicated member of the First United Methodist Church, she actively participated in various church activities, demonstrating her deep faith and devotion. Professionally, Colleen served as the Administrative Manager for Rangaire, where she was known for her strong will and direct approach. Her contributions to her workplace reflected her unwavering determination and passion for excellence. Colleen’s talents extended to her hobbies; she enjoyed sewing and was an enthusiastic participant in the Nolan River Chippers Club. Her creativity and spirit shone through in all her endeavors.

She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Barbara Rorick; grandson, Seth Lee Rorick; bonus grandchildren, Lori Rowlett, Amber Richard, Russell Rowlett, and Stephani Rowlett; as well as her bonus great-grandchildren, Jace, Sage, Ryan, Novalee, and Natalie.

Colleen was preceded in death by her parents, Marion Franklin and Eunice Trudell (Johnson) West; her husband, Allen; sons, Gary Franklin Rorick and Craig Lee Rorick; and her brother, Von Ray West.

Colleen will be remembered for her vibrant spirit, loving nature, and the lasting impact she made on all who knew her.
