Connie Henry was a loving wife, mother, Nanny, sister, and friend who passed away suddenly on October 6, 2023.
Connie was born on April 28, 1957, to Billy and Virgie Moore.
In 1988, at the Longhorn Saloon, Connie met Dave while out dancing. This mutual love of dancing helped their romance to bloom. They were married in their home on January 12, 1993. The memories they have made as a couple are priceless.
Connie’s family has always been an important part of her life. From washer tournaments to cards at the kitchen table; her brothers, sisters, cousins, and kids were always around. If luck was on your side, she would deep fry ribs and make mashed potatoes.
Connie’s love of animals was well known. She was always “rescuing” a dog from someone or somewhere.
What she looked forward to most was spending time with her grandkids and great grandkids. Nanny's door was always open. She supported, loved, and helped mold them into who they are today. There are no words for the loss that is felt with Connie’s passing.
Connie was preceded in death by her parents Billy and Virgie Moore, niece Sandy Kay Steele, nephew Harley Hobson, brother-in-law Franklin Green, and sister-in-law Vicki Moore.
Connie left behind her husband of 30 years, David Henry. Her son and family: Barry and Brenda Johnson and their children Jaydon, Ashlyn, and Summer. Her daughter and family: Amy and Heath Brown and their children Taylor (Robby) Bell, Autumn, Hayden, River, and Bailey. Her daughter and family: Daina and Cody Johnson and their children Tyler, Caitlin, Rileigh, and Austin. Her daughter and family: Dusti and Jacob Hall and their son Callum. Her daughter and family: Debbi and Brandon Jaggers and their children Mayci and Layni. Her great grandchildren: Oliver, Astrid, Jasper, Miles, and Arlo (coming in December). Her siblings: Charles and Gail Moore, Dickey Jo and Kim Moore, Todd Moore, Randy and Belinda Moore, Billy Jack and Irene Moore, Ruth Collins, Barbara Green, and Tamra Horton. As well as countless nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
