Cora Johnson

Services for Cora Mae Johnson, 73, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 29, 2007 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Reverend Eddy Carrell will officiate. Entombment will be in Greenacres Mausoleum. Pallbearers will be Travis Everett, James Bullard, Kenneth Bullard, Larry Roberts, Trey Webb and Ricky Threadgill. Honorary pallbearers will be Harold Werning, David Parrish and Gordon Rohrbacker.

Cora Mae Johnson passed away Wednesday, December 26, 2007 in Cleburne. She was born July 4, 1934 in Rio Vista, TX to Wyman and Juanita Jones Worlow. She married Will Carl Johnson on August 17, 1972 in Plainview, TX .

Mrs. Johnson was a nurses' aid and was of the Baptist faith.

Cora Mae Johnson is survived by her daughters, Donna Webb and husband, Larry of Lone Grove, OK, Teresa Gist of Joshua and Melinda Parrish and husband, Johnnye of Cleburne; son, Vernon Michael Uptergrove and wife, Sondra of Canton, TX; granddaughters, Ashley Goodson, Brittany Hulsey, Maci Webb, Sarah Gist and Kimberly Toress; grandsons, Aaron Goodson, Chad Goodson, Vernon Michael Uptergrove, Jr., Austin Parrish and Matthew Parrish; 9 great-grandchildren; sister, Betty Roberts and husband, Curtis of Joshua and brother, Roy Worlow and wife, Sandra of Joshua. She was preceded in death by her husband, Will Johnson in 1999; parents; one son, Donald Wayne Uptergrove; one sister and one brother.
