Curtis Box

Graveside service for Curtis Ray Box, 58, of Haltom City, will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, January 18, 2023 in Prices Chapel Cemetery. Reverend Mary Hunter will officiate. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 P.M., Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at the funeral home. Brent Hirst, Robert Box, Charlie Box, Greg Box, Kyle Box, Nelson Batten, Brett Box and Ryan Box will serve as pallbearers. Cody Box and Nate Box will be honorary pallbearers.

Curtis passed away Saturday, January 14, 2023 in North Richland Hills. He was born January 17, 1964 in Mississippi to Crawford Nelson and Augusta Mae Browder Box. He served his country in the United States Navy. Curtis worked as a warehouse manager for Wagner-Smith for 23 years. He married Gail Ritz on July 27, 2000, in Cleburne. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife, Gail Box of Haltom City; mother, Gussie Box of Cleburne; children, Deanna Clarke and Darcy of Keller; Amanda Dillon and Robert of Fort Worth; grandchildren, Kyle Dillon, Dane Clark and Dani Clarke; siblings, Robert Box and wife, Suzanne of Granbury, Charles Box and wife, Cheryl of Cleburne, Greg Box of Cleburne, Lisa Box of Cleburne and Sarah Carlson of Cleburne; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Curtis is preceded in death by his father.
