Graveside service for Curtis Wayne York, Sr., 70, of Blum will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, May 30, 2018 in Rosehill Cemetery. The Reverend Neale Oliver will officiate. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M.-Noon, Wednesday, prior to the service.
Curtis Wayne York, Sr. passed away Friday, May 25, 2018 in Hillsboro. He was born June 5, 1947 in Cleburne to Curtis Eugene and Janeta Irene Mullin York. He married Joyce Leona Crudduck on October 8, 1976 in Cleburne.
Mr. York worked as a commercial truck driver. He was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Joyce York of Blum; sons, Curtis York, Jr. and wife Tonya Marie of Joshua and Curt Eugene York and partner Bart Taylor of College Station; daughters, Debra Hawkins of Trenton and Gloria York of Glen Rose; grandchildren, Christi White and husband Bryant, Daniel York, Charlie McKinney, Harley McKinney, Karen Currie and husband Wayne and Noah Cradduck; six great grandchildren and one on the way; brother, Donald York and wife Margaret of Cleburne; numerous nieces and nephews, and additional loving family and friends who will miss him greatly. He was preceded in death by his parents.
