Cynthia "Cindy" Carpenter

Services for Cynthia Ann “Cindy” Carpenter, 65, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, August 11, 2021, in The Former Eastern Heights Sanctuary. Pastor Stephen McCoy and Pastor Billy Philips will officiate. Burial to follow in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8:00 P.M., Tuesday, August 10, 2021, at Crosier-Pearson Cleburne funeral home.

Cindy passed away Wednesday, August 4, 2021, in Cleburne. She was born April 20, 1956, in Waco to Joseph Marion and Billie Ray Reed Robert. Cindy married Chester Stanley Carpenter on April 20, 1977, in Gholson. She was a member of The Heights Church for 26 years. Cindy was an Activity Worker in nursing homes with nearly 20 years of service.

Cindy is survived by her husband, Chester Carpenter of Cleburne; daughter, Rebecca Ann Carpenter and Derrick Burks of Sargent; grandchildren, Hagen, Barrett, Kailyn, DeKlan, Greyson, Landen, Adyson, and Jaiden; mother, Billie Ray Robert of Waco; sisters, Vickie Slaughter of Cleburne and Doris Russ of Weatherford; brothers, Joseph Robert of Mart, Jerry Robert of Waco and Randall Scott Jennings of Rhome; along with numerous nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her father.
