Dale Grant passed away Sunday, February 21, 2021 at Chisholm Trail Estates, Keene, Texas. He was born January 4, 1929 in Scurry County, Texas to Edgar Elza and Exa Pearl (Sorrells) Grant. Dale married Katherine Burns on October 22, 1951 in Carlsbad, New Mexico. Dale served in the Air Force for four years receiving multiple metals for his service. He was a Lieutenant retired from the Arlington Fire Department with 25 years of service. Dale was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church of Grandview, Texas and preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Doris Byars, and his brothers, Elza and Donald Grant. Dale is survived by his wife Katherine Grant of Grandview, daughters, Cathy Rhine of Grandview, Janet Ryan of Dallas; grandchildren Joshua Rhine and wife, Sarah, Jena Miller and husband, Justin; great-grandchildren, Mattie Rhine, Levi Rhine, Ellie Rhine, Kinley Miller and Dakota Miller.
