Dallie Ripley

Service for Dallie Ripley, 102, of Blum will be conducted at 10:30 A.M., Monday, April 14, 2014 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery in Hill County. Pallbearers will be Rob Beeman III, Ricky Ripley, Kevin Ripley, Billy Massey, Tom Reynolds, Tim Hill, Scott Andersen, and David Massey.

Visitation will be from 3-5:00 P.M., Sunday, at the funeral home.

Mrs. Ripley passed away Friday, April 11, 2014 in Cleburne. She was born October 17, 1911 in Hill County to Lacy D. and Donzie Lula Wood DeArmon. She married Richard V. (Dick) Ripley on July 22, 1933 and he preceded her in death on August 5, 1996.

Mrs. Ripley was a homemaker. She loved to cook, gardening and quilting. Mrs. Ripley was a member of the Blum Order of the Eastern Star and Cedar Creek Baptist Church in Huron.

Survivors include her daughters, Sue Prather and husband Bill, Donna Beeman and husband Rob, and Sarah Gant and husband Steve; son, Jeff Ripley and wife Sherrie; daughter-in-law, Sue Ripley; nine grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her parents; son, Charles Ripley on November 10, 2009; and two sisters, Bessie Reid and Della Gollihar.
