Dan Batey

Services for Dan Larowe Batey Jr. of Cleburne, Tex will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. March 3, 2009 at the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. The Rev Terry Williams will officiate. Burial will be in the Rio Vista Cemetary. Pallbearers will be Levi Rippy, Mason Brooks, Mike Moore, Danny Kappell, Daniel Hutsell, and Tony Maberry.
Dan was a member of the Henderson St. Baptist Church. Dan (Bimbo) lost his battle with cancer and went home to be with his Lord on February 28, 2009 in Ft. Worth Texas. He was born December 16, 1953 in Waco, Texas to Dan Larowe Batey Sr. and Margie Bruce Batey.
Dan was a loving son, brother, grandson, father and loved by everyone who knew him. We may have lost an angel to heaven but the joy he brought to us will go on forever. He will be missed greatly by all.
Dan is survived by the love of his life Debbie Moore of 12 years. His mother and father Margie and Danny Moore of Cleburne; daughters, Neci and husband Danny Koppel of Crowley Texas, Fade and husband Daniel Hutsell of Joshua Texas, Tammie and husband Brad Decker of Annona, Texas; sons, Daniel and wife Courtney of Marion, Iowa, Darrell and Mike Moore of Cleburne Texas; brothers, Melvin and wife Cindy Batey of Victoria Texas, David and wife Rebecca Batey of Valley Mills, Texas, Rick Batey and Bill Moore of Cleburne, Texas; grandchildren Levi, Mason, Lexi, Kody, Kennodee, Kael, Lynsey, Jennifer, Kelly and Jake. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his father Dan Larowe Batey Sr., grandparents Wynne and Marie Batey and Lee and Mary Bruce.
Visitation will be Monday March 2, from 6-8 in the Cleburne Funeral Home.
