Services for Dana Sue Monroe, 67, of Cleburne will be conducted Friday, January 11, 2008 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Rev. Charles Payne will officiate. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Terry Hoskins, Jimmy Hoskins, Tom Monroe, Biz Monroe, Johnny Wiliams and Winfield Basham.

Mrs. Monroe passed away Tuesday, January 8, 2008 in Fort Worth. She was born March 18, 1940 in Cleburne, Texas to Audie and Jewell Brown Like. She married Orba Alvin Monroe August , 1954 in Cleburne.

Mrs. Monroe was a homemaker.

Dana Sue Monroe is survived by a son, Darrell Monroe and wife, Jill, of Snellville, Georgia; daughter, Shirley Green and husband, Wayne, of Cleburne; son-in-law, Terry Hoskins, of Rio Vista; grandsons, Jimmy Hoskins and wife, Misti and Jason Hoskins, all of Rio Vista; four great-grandchildren; brother, Darrell Like; sister, Nell Bottoms and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by daughters, Betty Hoskins and Wanda Monroe, her parents and one brother.
