Service for Daniel Wiley Dingler, 83, of Alvarado will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, Feb. 20, 2016 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Pastors Scott Marsh and Terry Potter will officiate. Burial will be in Georges Creek Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mike Hanna, George Doggett, Scooter Coward, Gary Braddock, Rhett Rhodes and Jeffrey Choate. Honorary pallbearers will be Steven Lane, Horton Stanley, Danny Martin, Mike Record, Max Rhodes, Ronnie Leonard, and Jimmy Atlas. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Friday, at the funeral home.
Daniel Wiley Dingler passed away Wednesday, Feb. 17, 2016 in Ft. Worth. He was born Jan. 29, 1933 in Fort Spunky to James Wiley and Mildred Agnes Daniels Dingler. He married Dorothy Jean Braddock in July 12, 1952 in Cleburne and she preceded him in death on Oct. 20, 1985. He then married Lois Mulkey on Oct. 23, 1987 and she preceded him in death on March 8, 2009.
Mr. Dingler was a millwright and loved farming and ranching. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, and a friend to many. He was a member of Buel Baptist Church.
Survivors include his sons, Terry Dan Dingler and wife Sandy of Burleson and Ronnie Gene Dingler and wife Joyce of Grandview; grandchildren, Steven Lane and wife Laura, Daniel “Cody” Dingler and wife Tawnya, and Ashley Jean Dingler Manchester and husband William; great grandchildren, Kinsey Lane, Colton Lane, Kylee Lane, Kaleb Dingler, Cheyenne Dingler, and Haleigh Peters; sister, Barbra Kay Ingram of Glen Rose; numerous nieces, nephews; great nieces, and great nephews. He was also preceded in death by his parents.
