Daniel Roberson

Services for Daniel C. Roberson, 62, of Crowley, will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 23, 2007 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Mr. B.B. Stevens will officiate. Burial will be next to his wife in Cedarwood Cemetery in
Roanoke Rapids, NC.
Daniel C. Roberson passed away July 19, 2007 after a long
battle with diabetes and injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.
Daniel was a retired veteran having served 14 years in the Army during
the Vietnam War where he was awarded the Purple Heart. He served as a
helicopter crew chief and mechanic. He was also an avid Ham Radio
Operator. He was preceded in death by his wife Vista K. Roberson. They
lived in Richmond, VA. until she passed away in 2001 after a brief
battle with cancer and he then returned to Texas.
He is survived by his daughter, Nancy Roberson Johnson and her husband
Robert. A sister, Andaleen Canen and her husband Paul of Burleson; Two
Brothers, Marlin "Red" Roberson and Ancil Roberson and wife Ouida of
Crowley. Many nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
