Darrell Moore

Darrell Alford Moore, 88, of Cleburne, passed away on Wednesday, May 17, 2023, in Cleburne. He was born on March 31, 1935, in Colorado City, Texas to Hatton and Edna Mae (Hanna) Moore. He married Doris Ruth Grisham on December 25, 1951, in Crosbyton, Texas and she preceded him in death on March 24, 2011. He owned Moore’s Swap Shop in Hico, Texas for over 26 years. He and Doris moved to Cleburne in 2006 and enjoyed fishing on the Nolan River and Lake Pat Cleburne.

Darrell is survived by his son, Danny Lee Moore and wife, Tricia of Cleburne; three grandsons and their wives, Keeton and Blair Moore of Fort Worth, Kyle and Samantha Moore of Cleburne, and Kendall and Tish Moore of Cleburne; one brother, Cal Wayne Moore of Bridgeport; 6 great-grandchildren, Kirsha, Carlisle, Leelan, Case, Asher and Anniston; and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris; son, Darrell Alford Moore, Jr., and 5 siblings.
