Darren DeLaune

Darren Oscar DeLaune, 47, of Fort Worth, passed away Wednesday, June 24, 2020 in Fort Worth. He was born November 7, 1972 in Buford, South Carolina to Derrell Wayne Sr. and Elizabeth Bessie (Bradshaw) DeLaune.

Darren was a mud mixer for West Texas Boring. He liked to tinker with radios. Darren was strong willed, did things his way and had a heart of gold. He never met a stranger and would give anyone the shirt off his back. Darren was raised in the Christian faith as an Adventist.


Darren is survived by his sons, Samuel Wayne DeLaune and his girlfriend Erica Lawwill and Randal Root: daughter, Jessica Wooley and husband Taylor; parents, Derrell DeLaune and Elizabeth DeLaune; siblings, Wayne DeLaune, Alishia Patino and husband Hector and James DeLaune; aunts; Pamela Chappel and Robbie DeLaune; uncle, Troy DeLaune and wife Patsy and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
