Dave Tanner

Service for Dave Tanner, Sr., 72, of Cleburne will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, May 29, 2012 in the Boulevard Baptist Church in Burleson. The Reverend Paul Cooper will officiate. Pallbearers will be Joshua Bruce, Jacob Bruce, Spencer Molina, Lee Noble, Steve Bruce and Bobby Campbell. Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Monday, at the funeral home.

Mr. Dave Tanner, Sr. passed away Thursday, May 24, 2012 in Ft. Worth. He was born Jan. 15, 1940 in Waterloo, NY to Howard Delos and Myrtle Elizabeth Dressing Tanner. He married Joyce Ellen Campbell on July 6, 1961 in Sayre, Penn.

Mr. Tanner was a retired salesman for Forrest Chevrolet-Cadillac and a member of Boulevard Baptist Church in Burleson.

Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Joyce Tanner of Cleburne; daughters, Wendy Grafa, Lisa Noble and husband Lee and Melissa Molina and husband Roy; sons, David Tanner, Jr. and Donnie Tanner and wife Carrie; brother, Richard Tanner and wife Karen; three sisters, Ginny White, Marion Tanner and Roma Woodruf; 10 grandchildren, three great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Howard Tanner and Ronald Tanner.
