David Cumins

David was born July 19, 1951, in Clifton Texas, the son of George Harrison Cumins and Ola Louise Stegall Cumins. He passed from this world a Christian man on February 12, 2005. David was a faithful member and a Trustee of the Faith Temple Church in Cleburne.
A 1970 Graduate of Rio Vista High School, David Married the love of his life, Sharon Joy Hutson that same year. Their thirty four year marriage was blessed with a daughter, Amy Leann and a son Jeffery David.
David was a loving Husband, Father, Son, Brother, Grandfather and friend to many. He always had a hand out in case someone needed him and a heart of gold to go with it. He was an active outdoorsman and loved to share his wealth of knowledge with his friends and family. He spent many days hunting and fishing as well as coaching youth t-ball, and baseball. He also served his community while on the Rio Vista School Board for six years. He was owner and operator of Tarrant Brace Company in Ft. Worth and a licensed Orthotist, as well as a licensed Real Estate Appraiser, and Director of Marketing for Baker O.& P.
David was preceeded in death by his parents George Cumins in 1983, and Louise Cumins in 2000.
David is survived by his loving wife Sharon, daughter Amy and husband Lee Moses of Cleburne, son Jeff and his wife Tina of Rio Vista, sisters Carolyn Rathburn of Clifton, Shirley Colby and husband Richard of Ft. Worth, Helon Nelson of Meredian, brother Rick Cumins and wife Nina of Rio Vista, grandchildren Zak and Abbie Moses, Tucker, Ethan and Andrew Cumins, mother-in-law Anita Hutson of Cleburne, father-in-law E.A. Hutson of Rio Vista, brother-in-law Duane Hutson and wife Cyndi of Kopperl, and many nieces and nephews.

The family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society in lieu of flowers.
