Funeral services for David Michael Graff, 75, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Friday, March 3, 2023, in the Crosier - Pearson Cleburne Chapel with Pastors Steven McCoy and Alvin Robinson officiating.
Mr. Graff passed away on Monday, February 27, 2023, in Cleburne. He was born to Lannie Udell and Willie Inez Shelton Graff on November 4, 1947, in Cleburne. David married Cathy Lynn Guess on November 5, 1986, in Fredericksburg, Texas. He worked in the Aerospace industry since the 1960s ending his career with over 25 years of service with Lockheed Martin as a Quality Control Inspector. He was of the Baptist faith. David was truly "bigger than life", always the "life of the party". Music and playing the guitar were a passion of his. He enjoyed country and western or blues music especially. David was an organized man, believing that everything has a proper place and should be in that place. He was an avid reader, especially of Texas history. He enjoyed golfing, motorcycles, and horses in his free-time. It has been said that he could make anything. His talents in creating things included knives, shoe horns, and miniature tools as well as many other projects. The mark that David left on those who knew him was the kind that made you a better person. He will be greatly missed.
David was preceded in death by his parents (listed above); and brothers, Bobby Graff and Charles Graff.
Survivors include his wife, Cathy Graff; Children and their spouses, Carrie Graff Smith & Todd, Dustin Moore & Elizabeth, and Brack Moore & Kelly; 4 grandchildren, Trent, Tanner, Ardyn, and Jaylee; 1 great-granddaughter; sister and brother-in-law, Sharon and John Haley; nieces, Sherrie Humphrey and Cathy Johnson; great nephew, Matthew; and a host of other family members and friends.
