David Rowlson

Private memorial services for David Rowlson, Sr., 57, of Godley, will be held at a later date. Big Dave Rowlson passed away on Tuesday, March 15, 2011 in Crowley, Texas. He was born on June 23, 1953 in Coldwater, MI. David was of Christian faith and served in the United States Army, just after the Vietnam Era. He retired from Boeing Aerospace. David was known as a loveable and outgoing man who enjoyed people. He loved to fish and enjoyed riding motorcycles with his friends and family. He was a joker. Papa or Grandpa Dave was a proud owner of a two of a kind VW Trike, that his brother had built. He will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Rowlson, and son, Daron Rowlson.
Survivors include his mother, Arlene Inman of Colon, MI; children and their spouses, David Rowlson, Jr. and Shelly of Grasslake, MI, Dale Rowlson and Megan of Blum, TX and Alicia Rowlson of Battlecreek, MI; 6 grandchildren and one on the way; brother, Mark Rowlson and his wife, Janet of Tennessee Ridge, TN; sister Dawn Rowlson and her partner, Jo of Cleburne, TX; nephew, Tony Rowlson and his wife Bethany of Clarksville, TN; and a host of other relatives, extended family and friends.
