Graveside services for Deah Tamara Keen, 19, of Covington, will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Friday, December 14, 2012 in the Baker Lain Cemetery. Rev. Dennis Moore will officiate. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 6:00-8:00 P.M. on Thursday. Memorials may be made to the Deah Keen Memorial Fund c/o Laverne West at the First Financial Bank of Cleburne.
Ms. Keen passed away Sunday, December 9, 2012 in Covington. She was born May 14, 1993 in New Port, Kentucky. Deah had recently begun working as a waitress at Pulido's Restaurant. She was of the Baptist faith. She was outgoing, strong willed and outspoken. Deah loved her family unconditionally and was known as a "Daddy's girl". She loved to laugh and brought laughter to those around her whether through her singing or joking. She especially loved to pick on D.J. She adored her children and enjoyed spending as much time as she could with them. Deah's love for life and vibrant spirit will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved her. Every time they see the color lime green, she will be remembered. Deah was preceded in death by her grandparents, Lawrence and Irene Taylor, and Robert L. Keen.
Survivors include her children, Taven James Osborn, Kason Scott Osborn and Jesse Thomas Brush; parents, James and Anna Keen; grandmother, Laverne West; siblings, Crystal Taylor, Nathaniel Taylor and wife, Summer, T.J. Jacob, Jennifer Keen, Stephanie Taylor and Johnny Bennett, Dustin Smith, Damon Smith and wife, Andrea, Ayla Keen and James L. Keen, Jr.; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
