Service for Debbie Sullivan Whipp, 56, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, January 19, 2013 at Calvary Baptist Church, 700 Woodard Ave, Cleburne, Texas. The Reverend Charles Payne and Reverend Eddy Carrell will officiate. Burial will be in Prices Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Debbie Whipp passed away Wednesday, January 16, 2013 in Fort Worth. She was born September 1, 1956 to Leonard L. and Nancy Bowman Sullivan. She married George David Whipp on March 18, 1983 in Cleburne.
Debbie was a caring person, always helpful and always happy. She worked as a real estate agent with Century 21 as well as at Comanche Peak and TXU for years. She was a giver and well organized. These attributes served her well as the founder of Antique Alley. It amazed her to see how much it grew over the years. She was the owner of Whipp Farm, also known as "Whippoorwill Hill" at Antique Alley. Debbie was an avid bird watcher. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Her love for life and dedicated spirit will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved her.
Debbie is survived by her mother, Nancy Sullivan; siblings, Randy Sullivan, Rodney Sullivan and David Sullivan; several nieces and nephews; her cat, Sugar Baby and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Leonard Sullivan in 2007; husband, George Whipp on September 6, 2009 and nephew, Jeremy Sullivan in 2005.
