Service for Debra Ken Owen, 65, of Cleburne will be conducted at 1:00 P.M., Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at Lane Prairie Baptist Church. The Reverend Jerry Clements will officiate. Burial will be at Cleburne Memorial Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Brian Owen, Cody Owen, Heath Bullard, Clifton Hall, Mark Owen, William Caldwell, Taylor Caldwell and Michael Whistler. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M. Tuesday, at the funeral home.
Debra Ken Owen passed away Sunday, April 9, 2017 in Burleson. She was born October 3, 1951 in Abilene to Kenneth R. and Fannie Mae White Dawson. She married Jimmy Gene Owen, Jr. on Dec. 27, 1973 in Midland and he preceded her in death on Feb. 5, 2016.
Mrs. Owen was a homemaker and a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and a dear friend to many. She was a member of Lane Prairie Baptist Church.
Survivors include her children, Brian Owen and wife Emily, Brende Bullard and husband Heath and Ashley Hall and husband Clifton, all of Cleburne; grandchildren, Allyson Owen, Cody Owen, Jennifer Owen and Jewell Bullard; mother, Fannie Mae Dawson; sister, Jamie Crawford of Michigan; brothers, Jim Dawson and Joe Dawson, both of Midland; and a host of other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by her father and grandson, Lawson Bullard.
