Delia Smith

Service for Delia Smith, 80, of Cleburne will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, December 6, 2018 in the Church of the Holy Comforter. Father Christopher Woodall will officiate. Burial will be in the Cleburne Memorial Cemetery. Visitation 6-8:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Joel Smith, Corey Smith, Larry Jones, Rick Douglas, David Hanna and Shawn Gambrell. Honorary pallbearers will be Houston Hanna, John Gilbert, David Murdoch, Malcom Wetsel, Sam Walls and Vernon Gambrell.

Delia Smith passed away November 30. 2018 in Aledo. She was born September 23, 1938 in Cleburne, to Marvin D. Armstrong Sr. and Magdalyn (McClendon) Armstrong. She married Terry Glenn Smith on June 8, 1956 in Cleburne. He preceded her in death on October 18, 2008.

Delia is survived by her children, Marty Smith and wife Anita of Graham, D’Anna Waller and husband Lance of Aledo and Chad Smith of Burleson; special niece, Kristi Firth and husband Zach of Vienna, VA; grandchildren, Joel , Corey, Allie, Kassadi, Abbie, Rebecka, Chad, Carter and Sebastian and great grandson Dylan.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Terry Glenn Smith and son Gerald Wade Smith.
