Dena Street

Dena Turk Street, 58, of Cleburne passed away September 12, 2022 in Fort Worth. She was born November 23, 1963 in Gallup, New Mexico to Gene and Sheri Gleadle Turk. Dena married James Russell “Rusty” Street on May 9, 1996 in Cleburne.

Dena was a lady that you couldn’t miss. Her presence filled the room. Her love of family and independent streak as well as her strength will be remembered by those who she leaves behind. She was strong willed and stayed busy. Dena was an animal lover and had a giving heart. She enjoyed baking and several types of arts and crafts. Dena took great pride in her Native American heritage especially her Chickasaw lineage.

Dena is survived by her husband, Rusty Street; children, Nicholas Sawyer and wife, April, John Sawyer, Sarah Hutto and husband, Daniel; grandchildren, Alexandra Macanally, Addison Horton, KonLee Arnold, Cason Sawyer, KynLee Arnold, Brayden Kyle Sawyer, and Abigayle Sawyer, Atticus Fox Hutto; siblings, Janine Armstrong, Kenny Turk and wife, Lisa; nieces, Liz Armstrong and Cordelia Turk; and host of other relatives and friends.

Dena is preceded in death by her parents.
