Denice Huerta

Denice Ann Thorp Wellman Huerta, 55, of Cleburne, passed away Saturday, December 18, 2021, in Fort Worth. She was born April 23, 1966, to Robert Allen Thorp and Mildred LaVerne Jones Thorp, later adopted by Carl Henry Wellman in Chicago, Illinois. A memorial service will be held at a later time.

Denice married Jesus Huerta Jr. on June 10, 1989, in Illinois. She was a homemaker, and she loved her family more than anything. She could light up the room with her smile and laugh, brighter than any sunlight could. Her passing is hard on everyone she met. We will miss you!

Denice is survived by her husband of forty years, Jesus Huerta Jr.; children, Jesus Huerta III and Crystal Lee Huerta; grandchildren, Sam Huerta, Lily Greene and one on the way; sisters, Diane Lee Sayger and Chuck, Darlene Ruth Buttrum and Brian; numerous nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
