Services for Dewey "A.D." Lowe, 86, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Monday, August 27, 2007 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Dr. Joe Stephens and Mr. Eddy Carrell will officiate. Burial will be in Greenacres Memorial Park.
Dewey "A.D." Lowe passed away Thursday, August 23, 2007 in Cleburne. He was born August 22, 1921 in Huckaby, Texas to George and Lela Christian Lowe. He married Billie Thompson on August 2, 1943 in Cleburne.
Mr. Lowe was former mayor of Joshua, a machinist for General Dynamics and a member of Calvary Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the US Navy.
A.D. Lowe is survived by his wife, Billie Lowe of Cleburne; sons, Danny Lowe and wife Nancy of Grandview, Ricky Lowe and wife Vivian of Wichita Falls, Terry Lowe and wife Pam of Burleson and Tim Lowe and wife Jane of Joshua; six grandchildren, Tony,Tonya, Ryan, Loren, Aaron and Andrea; six great-grandchildren, Stetson, Frisco, Hunter, Kaitlynn, Mackenzi and Matthew; two sisters, Barbara Nolan of Weatherford and Judy Clark of Fort Worth.
Visitation will be Sunday from 5-7 p.m.
