Funeral services for D.J. Moulder, 70, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 10:00AM on Saturday, May 25, 2024 in the Covington Church of Christ with Mr. Barry Pritchard officiating. Keaton Martin, Tyler Morales, Hunter Bowman, Kreagan Martin, Austin Gonzalez, Brendan Wilhite, Brody Wilhite, and Jacob Porch will serve as pallbearers. There will be a time of visitation for those able to have fellowship with the family from 6:00-8:00 PM on Friday, May 24, 2024 at Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Funeral Home. D.J. passed away on Sunday, May 19, 2024 in Cleburne. He was born August 2, 1953 in Cleburne to Lloyd Robert and Carrie Janette Virginia (Granton) Moulder. On April 19, 1998 in Waxahachie, Texas, he married Laura Jane Goddard. D.J. was a man of faith, having grown up in the Church of Christ faith. He worked as a Deputy with the Johnson County Sheriff’s Department for over 20 years and then went back to work as a Parts Specialist with O’Reilly’s Auto Parts for another 15 years before retiring. D.J. was an avid sports-fan of all sports, but especially of the Texas Rangers. He spent countless hours working on cars throughout the years as well as fishing and hunting. He was a man who enjoyed laughter and has been described as being funny and comical. D.J. believed in resting when you could and for those who knew him – know that he did. D.J. will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. He is preceded in death by his parents (listed above); and a brother, Robert Wesley “Bob” Moulder.
Survivors include his wife of 26 years, Laura Moulder; children & their spouses, Amy & Ky Martin, Heather Byrd & Matt Dalhauser, Alicia & Kyle McCurdy, Ashley & Joseph Hicks, and Ronnie Rogers; 17 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Tom & Connie Moulder; sister-in-law, Cheryl Moulder, and numerous nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
