Dolores Hamilton

Graveside service for Dolores Hamilton, 88, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 2:00P.M., Monday, January 18, 2021 in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-6:00 P.M., Sunday, January 17, 2021 at the funeral home.

Dolores Hamilton went to be with her Lord and Savior on January 12, 2021. Dolores Ward Hamilton was born April 14, 1932 to Thomas and Nora Ward in Cleburne, Texas. She attended Cleburne schools and graduated from Cleburne High School in 1949. She married her husband Muriel “Charlie” Hamilton on November 9, 1952. They have been married for 68 years. They enjoyed traveling in their RV to all 50 states and Providences in Canada.
Dolores retired after 27 years as church secretary at Henderson St. Baptist Church. She continued to be very active at Henderson St. Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Nora Ward and her grandson Thomas James Hamilton.

She is survived by her husband, Muriel Charles Hamilton of Cleburne; daughter, Darla of Cleburne; sons, Steven of Elko, Nevada, Kenneth and Sharon Hamilton of Rio Vista; granddaughters, Dana of Rio Vista, Katie and Brandon Kessler of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and Stephanie of Ennis, Texas; great-granddaughters, Jacee Whitley of Rio Vista, Madison Kessler of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and Mariah Kessler of Joshua, Texas; sister-in-law, Ona Pritchard of Cleburne and niece, Jan Easthouse of Paris, Texas and family; Tyler Jack and sons Kyler and Kamden of Paris, Texas; Dillon of Dallas, Texas and Katie and Patrick Smith of Dallas, Texas and family , friends and extended church family.
