Dolores Olivares

Service for Dolores Cardona Olivares, 84, of Cleburne will be conducted at 9:30 A.M., Friday, August 30, 2013 in the Iglesia Bautista Nuevo Amanecer. Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Aaron Olivares, Jesse Olivares, Juan Olivares Jr., Juan Olivares, Pablo Villasana Jr., Josue Villasana, Benito Rosas; Juan Alberto Aguilar and Vladimir Aguilar. Visitation will be at 7:00 P.M. Thursday at the church.

Dolores Cardona Olivares passed away Tuesday, August 27, 2013 in Cleburne. She was born September 1, 1928 in Agujita Coahuila, Mexico to Jesus Cardona and Maria Hernandez. She married Trinidad Rodriguez Olivares in February of 1945 and he preceded her in death on April 1, 2012.

Mrs. Olivares worked as a seamstress for Walls Industries until her retirement. She was a member of Iglesia Bautista Nueva Amanecer.

Survivors include her daughters, Blanca Estella Aguilar and husband Alberto, Ludivina Rosas and husband Benito and Martha Villasana and husband Pablo; sons, Antonio Olivares and wife Lorenza, Arturo Olivares and wife Isabel, Jesus Olivares and wife Modesta and Juan Olivares and wife Rosa; 28 grandchildren; 56 great grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren; two sisters, Martina and Elvira; and a brother, Jesus. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Pedro Cardona and Guadalupe Cardona and two sisters, Julia Mujica and Maria Morales.
