Services for Don Samuel, 71, of Blum, will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 8, 2007 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Rev. Mark Carrillo will officiate.
Don Samuel has gone on to be with the Lord, Thursday, December 5, 2007 in Ft. Worth. He was born December 28, 1935 in Irving , TX to Lawerence Eliott and Swan Martin Samuel. He married Jean White on August 15, 1953 in Ft. Worth.
Mr. Samuel retired as a contractor in the home construction industry. He was in the National Guard for many years and owned Advantage Security Co. and Live Oak Kennels at Blum. He was a member of Blum Masonic Lodge and Deer Creek Masonic Lodge in Ft. Worth. He was of the Baptist faith.
Don Samuel is survived by wife, Jean Samuel of Blum; son, Steve Samuel and wife Mary of Burleson; daughter, Diane Ratcliff and husband Mark of Alvarado; brother, Willard Rollins of Granbury; sisters, Ida Ruth Crutcher of Granbury and Barbara Jean Smith of Ft. Worth; three grandchildren, Maegan, John and Mark and a number of nieces and nephews.
