Don Strealy

Service for Don Strealy, 79, of Cleburne will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Monday, April 20, 2015 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. The Reverend Eddie Freeman will officiate. Burial will be in Bono Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1-3:00 P.M., Sunday, at the funeral home.

Don Strealy passed away Tuesday, April 14, 2015 in Keene with his family by his side. He was born December 19, 1935 in Ft. Worth to Leonard Donald and Lula Belle Lyles Strealy. He married Marcia Ann Kimberlin on August 9, 1957 in Ft. Worth.

Mr. Strealy was a district manager at the Ft. Worth Star Telegram for 25 years and a longtime member of Henderson Street Baptist Church. He was a great storyteller who never met a stranger. He was a trainer for the TCU basketball team and a lifelong democrat per his wife. He will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved him.

Survivors include his children, Sherryl Braun and husband Mike of Ft. Worth, Susan Martin of Dallas, and Sheila Lester and husband Jimmy of Farmers Branch; grandchildren, Shaye Martin, Lauren Braun, Connor Lester and Lauren Lester; brother, Gary Strealy; and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife.
