Funeral services for Donald (Gary) Hayes, 64, of Cleburne will be held at 4:00 PM, Thursday, September 22, 2005 at the Cleburne Seventh-day Adventist Church, with Dr. Tony Torres officiating. Burial will be in Keene Memorial Park, Keene, Texas.

Donald (Gary) Hayes, passed away on Sunday, September 18, 2005, in Fort Worth. He was born March 10, 1941 in Urbana, Illinois, the son of Donald E. and Thelma Mae Tibbs Hayes. He married Martha Joanne Lacy, April 2, 2001, in Emory, Texas. He was a member of the Cleburne Seventh-day Adventist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Martha Joanne Hayes, of Cleburne; son, Gary Hayes II and wife, Leona, of Arlington; daughter, Cheryl Thurman and husband, Richard, of Nashville, Tennessee; son, John Hayes and wife, Lori, of Birmingham, Alabama; step-son, Stevan Harris and wife, Charlotte, of Grandview; step-daughters, Becky Price, of Cleburne and Joan Woods and husband, Clint, of Fort Worth; thirteen grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and one sister, Carol Tarpington
