Graveside Services for Donald Richard Michaels, 84, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, September 10, 2008 in the DFW National Cemetery,Lane A. Pastor David Peacock will officiate.
Donald Richard Michaels passed away on Saturday, September 6, 2008 in Cleburne. He was born November 16, 1923 in Detroit, Michigan to Hurley and Grace Hamilton Michaels. He married Shirley Ford on March 1, 1986 in Cleburne.

Mr. Michaels was a real estate broker. He served 22 years in the US Marines, serving in WWII and Korea. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Lipan.

Donald R. Michaels is survived by wife, Shirley Michaels of Cleburne; son, Bryce N. Michaels and wife, Debra of Wills Point; daughter, Sharon S. Feese of Dubuth, Georgia; step-sons, Wesley Allen Thedford and wife, Nancy and Arnold Wade Thedford of Corpus Christi, TX; step-daughter, Shirley Diane Scott and husband, Hugh of Yucan Oklahoma; 4 grandchildren, Brenson, Jaime, Jennifer and Kerri ; 2 great-grandchildren, Reece and Rylea and expected great-grandchild, Vera; step-nephew, Orville Suth and wife, Anna and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
