Graveside service for Donald Smith, 60, of Cleburne will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, Mar. 14, 2017 at the Live Oak Cemetery in Hill County. Chaplain Eddy Carrell will officiate. Pallbearers will be Gary Roye, Ron “Bubba” Roye, Dustin Rubio, Curtis Roye, Jerry Morehead and Cody Smith. Honorary pallbearers will be Bobby Morehead, Danny Baggerly, Lonnie Sadler, Coy Miller and Gume Romero. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Monday, at Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Funeral Home.
Donald Smith passed away Thursday, Mar. 9, 2017 in Ft. Worth. He was born Sept. 9, 1956 in Cleburne to Darwin Ray and Winnie Louise Smith.
Mr. Smith worked in manufacturing and was of the Christian faith.
Survivors include his wife, Tanya; children, Jeanie Romero and husband Gume of Cleburne and Cody Smith and wife Kristen of Joshua; grandchildren, Dakoda Ray Smith and Kenslee Dawn Smith; siblings, Tim Smith and wife Tracey of Cleburne, Steve Smith of Southlake and Clay Smith of Tucson, AZ; nieces and nephews, Christy, Josh, Hannah, Rachel, Sarah, Jacob, Patrick and Matthew; sister-in-law, Carolyn Smith; and a host of other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Dave Smith; several aunts and uncles; nephew, Tory “Big Toe” Allen; and a cousin, Dustin Roye.
