Donald Smith, Sr.

Service for Donald Ray Smith, Sr., 65, of Cleburne will be conducted 2:00 P.M., Saturday, January 5, 2019 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Visitation: 6-8:00 P.M., Friday at the funeral home.

Donald Ray Smith passed away December 28, 2018 in Cleburne. He was born April 20, 1953 in Paris, Texas, to Floyd Pool and Katherine Marie (Morgan) Smith. Donald worked as a jailer at the Johnson County Jail. He was a hard worker and liked to joke around a lot. Donald loved his family and his animals.

Donald is survived by his children Stacy Jarvis and husband Damon, Danny Smith and Katrina Bowersox; grandchildren, Stetson Smith, Brittani Hutchison, Courtney Covington, Shawn Bowersox, Brianna Hall, Tyler Black, Alexis Bowersox and Danny Smith Jr.; great grandchildren Hayze Hutchison, Brailyn Matthews and Bentley Smith; sisters, Virginia Moore and husband James and Patsy McClure and husband Larry; brother, Steven Smith and wife Marsha; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents; son Donald Ray Smith Jr., grandson Jeremy Wade Smith Perkins.
