Service for Donna Cook Witt, 80, of Cleburne, Texas will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, October 28, 2021, in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Pastor Harly Charles will officiate. Graveside services will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery at 2:00 P.M.
Donna passed away Thursday, October 21, 2021, in Ft. Collins, Colorado. She was born October 11, 1941, in Fort Worth, Texas to Don Coit and Tennie Pauline Hall Cook. She and Thomas Witt were together twenty years at the time of his death on April 9, 2013. Donna loved life and she loved all people. She was bigger than life and loved being in the center of all events. She had an innocence about her and never met a stranger. As a member of Seventh-day Adventist Church in Cleburne, her faith was a huge part of her life. She was a strong prayer warrior and loved the Lord. Donna was a ladies lady, always put together and well dressed. Her creativity echoed throughout her life, she was a talented seamstress and artist and loved to share her talents with others. Donna's ability to love fiercely and sacrifice for those she loved was boundless. Her small but mighty spirit and bubbly nature will be greatly missed.
Donna is survived by her daughters, Teresa Lee Hoad, Susan McCulley and husband, Chris, Gina Williams and husband, Carl; stepchildren, Susie Karamooz and husband, Hossein, and Shelly Roman and husband, Guadalupe. Grandchildren, Phillip Hoad, Jr., Paul Hoad, Heather Hoad, Lauren Bancroft, Dylan McCulley, Katie Curtis, Guy Curtis and Trinity Williams; eight great-grandchildren; sister, Linda "Cookie" Brunsdon; two nieces and numerous cousins and a host of other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and husband.
