Donnie Doak

An inurnment for Donnie Doak, 76, of Cleburne, will be scheduled at a later date in DFW National Cemetery.

Donnie passed away Monday, May 1, 2023 in Fort Worth. He was born December 4, 1946 in Cleburne to Billy R. and Melva Doris Dunson Doak. He married Patricia Ann Tisdale on December 18, 1976 in Cleburne. He was of the Baptist faith. Donnie served his country in the United States Marines. He then earned his associates of psychology and sociology and a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. Donnie was very dedicated to his career and worked in many capacities of law enforcement. He loved to fish and hunt, specifically hogs. Donnie enjoyed reloading firearm shells, loved watching westerns and documentaries. He will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Pat Doak; son, Timothy Don Doak and wife, Sarah; grandchildren, Ava Doak and Ryder Doak; uncle, Kenneth Dunson; dogs, Marley and Bobo, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Donnie was preceded in death by his parents, Billy and Doris Doak; grandparents, Otis and Melba Dunson.
