Donnie Hasty

Graveside services for Donnie Hasty, 73, of Cleburne will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 21, 2009 in Greenacres Memorial Park. Rev. Charles E. Payne will officiate. Pallbearers will be David Kittle, George Lain, Yale Gibbs, Cody Hasty, Rusty Street and Dan Hasty. Honorary pallbearers will be Freddie Hadley, Giles Adams, Curtis Rives and George Sowell. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday.

Donnie Hasty passed away Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2009 in Ft. Worth. He was born Oct. 31, 1936 in Meridian to Arthur Lee and Hattie Mae Billings Hasty. He married Julia Ann Engledow on August 16, 1958 in Blum.

Mr. Hasty was a retired general contractor. He served proudly in the U.S. Army and was a member of American Legion Post 50.

Donnie Hasty is survived by his wife, Julia Hasty of Cleburne; three children, Denise Hasty of Cleburne, Delyn Guede and husband, Jeff of Grandview, Kirk Hasty and wife, Angie of Abbott; 6 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; 3 sisters, Barbara Rhone, Gail Gibbs and Judy Sims; 2 brothers, Johnny Hasty and Ronnie Hasty; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
