Dora Blaine, 71, of Cleburne went to be with her Lord in heaven on Dec. 7, 2007. The funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 10, 2007 at First Christian Church, of which she was a member, with Wayne Ashlock officiating.Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m., Sunday at the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Funeral Home. Burial will be at Grandview Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Fred Bennett, John Hathaway, Ronnie Boyer, Ken Ellis, Chuck Bailey and Jimmy Venturi.
Dora is described as being the stability of Rick's life throughout their marriage. She had the determination to fight her long battle with cancer. Even during her final days here on earth, she had a courageous spirit. The family is thankful for all those who were involved in her care through the years. Also, a special thank you to Alpha Omega Hospice for all the extra love and care.
In lieu of flowers, you may make memorials to Alpha Omega Hospice or First Christian Church Building Fund.
Dora is survived by her husband of over 49 years, Rick, of Cleburne; brothers, Melvin Dunham and wife Deanie of Bonham, Mike Dunham and wife Cindy of
N. Richland Hills; sisters, Elizabeth Tucker and husband Charles of Emory, Novie Cook and husband Kid of Grandview; sister-in-law, Jean Dunham of Arlington; mother Auba Dunham of Haltom City. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Preceding her in death, brother, Ernest Dunham, Jr. and father, Ernest Dunham, Sr.
