Doris Barker
Mrs. Barker passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2005 in Hillsboro. She was born May 23, 1922 in Whitesville, West Virginia to Samuel Ellsworth and Ada Esther Browning Kidwell. She married Ernest W. Barker on September 6, 1940 in Greenup County, Kentucky.
Mrs. Barker was a homemaker and of the Methodist faith. She was a member of the International Society of the Descendants of Charlemegne.
Doris Lee Barker is survived by four sons, Wendell Lloyd Barker of Georgia, Lowell Alan Barker of Covington, Barry Lane Barker of Georgia and Samuel Anderson Barker of South Carolina; three daughters, Nila Louise Ratliff of Florida, Sandra Kay Black of Covington and Janice Lynn Barker of Florida; eleven grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1990 and one brother, Samual Ronald Kidwell.
