Services for Doris Jeanne Minchey, 75, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. Monday, June 8, 2009 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Rev. Larry York will officiate. Interment will be 3:30 P.M., Monday, June 8, 2009 in Eastview Cemetery, Vernon, TX.
Mrs. Minchey passed away Wednesday, June 3, 2009 in Ft. Worth. She was born February 23, 1934 in Vernon, Texas to John and Cora Jewel Jackson Winn.
She was a self employed antique dealer, a member of Field St. Baptist Church and a lifetime member of the PTA.
Doris Minchey is survived by two sons, Rickey Minchey of MO. and Doug Minchey and wife Caren of Cleburne; two daughters, Cindy Cobb and husband Randy of Goldwaite and Kim Zorn and husband Gene of Cleburne; brother, J.C. Winn of Amarillo; sister, Joan Carter of Joshua; ten grandchildren, Shawna Lynn, Stephanie, Shawna Marie, Lejay, Jennifer, Bradley, Amanda, Daniel, Garrett, and Kenton and nine great-grandchildren.
