Graveside service for Doris Odessa Rhoades, 86, of Cleburne will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, Oct. 13, 2016 in Rosehill Cemetery. The Reverend Earl Sides will officiate. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Wednesday, at the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Funeral Home.
Doris Odessa Rhoades passed away Monday, Oct. 10, 2016 in Cleburne. She was born June 20, 1930 in Johnson County to Walter and Nola Knight Hargrove. She married William H. “Bill” Rhoades on August 2, 1945 in Johnson County and he preceded her in death on June 3, 2014.
Mrs. Rhoades was a nurse’s aide, retiring with 20 years of service. She was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her daughters, Jennifer Brooks, Linda Webb, and Tammy Flippin, all of Cleburne; son, William H. Rhoades, Jr. of Cleburne; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends who will miss her greatly. She was also preceded in death by her parents; great grandson, Chad Richeson; great granddaughter, Regan Ramirez; son-in-law, Ronnie Gene Brooks; brother, Walter B. Hargrove; and a sister, Betty Joe Hall.
