Doris Ratcliff

Graveside service for Doris Imojean Ratcliff, 89, of Cleburne, will be conducted 3:00 P.M., Saturday, May 4, 2013 in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-7:30 P.M. Friday, at the funeral home.

Doris Imojean Ratcliff passed away Friday, April 26, 2013 in Keene. She was born July 11, 1923 in Rice to Early Chester and Mary Emmie Starritt Rhodes. She married Willie Ratcliff in Sept. of 1945 at Longview and he preceded her in death on July 19, 1965.

Mrs. Ratcliff worked as a bookkeeper in the banking industry until retirement. She was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include her son, Lanney Ratcliff of Cleburne; three grandchildren, Lisa Ratcliff of Houston, Kasey Weems of Cleburne and Joanna Mahan of Crowley; four great grandchildren, Alexandria Ratcliff, Drayton Ratcliff, Chesney Stephenson and Pam Mahan; one sister, Mary Talent of Cleburne and one brother, Billy Gene Rhodes of Alvarado. She was also preceded in death by her parents, sister, Shirley Mae; four brothers, Byrd, Lee Vern, Leon and Marion Calvin Rhodes and one son, Danney Ratcliff in Dec. of 2012.
