Doris Saunders

Service for Doris Ruth Saunders, 81, of Cleburne will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2012 in The College Heights Baptist Church. The Reverend Mark Ely will officiate. Burial will be in Cleburne Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-7:30 P.M., Tuesday, at the funeral home.

Mrs. Saunders passed away Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2012 in Cleburne. She was born March 23, 1930 in Johnson County to Josh and Mary Elizabeth Richie McGee. She married Robert Edward Saunders, Jr. on Oct. 27, 1945 in Cleburne.

Mrs. Saunders was a retired assembler with Marti Electronics and a member of College Heights Baptist Church.

Survivors include her two sons, Robert Saunders and wife Virginia of Granbury and Richard Saunders and wife Mary of Emory; daughter, Karen Ballew and husband David of Granbury; four grandchildren, Chris Saunders, Keith Saunders, Wendy Piety and Jeremy Ballew; 12 great grandchildren; brother, J.D. McGee of Granbury; sister, Dean Moore of Burleson and several other relatives and friends.
